It is getting easier to relate to myself as a writer. The change from a thought scribbler in notepads to caring about each and every word now defines me. After years of poetry and attempts at capturing short stories from my youth, I've begun working on a historical fiction novel, covering lesser known stories from Ben Franklin's younger days. What a learning process! It's in the final stretch now and I look forward to having time for some new creative writing.
